The terms of using Todayish

They are between you and [OPERATOR NAME], who runs Todayish (“we”, “us”). They apply from the moment you sign in and for as long as you have an account.

Todayish is a habit tracker: you describe habits, mark the days you did them, and it works out what is due and how you are doing. It is a tool for keeping your own notes about your own behaviour.

It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a medical device. Do not use it as the authoritative record of anything that has consequences — medication, treatment, compliance, or a legal obligation.

Signing in requires a Google account, which is the only sign-in method offered. You are responsible for keeping that Google account secure; anyone who can get into it can get into your Todayish data.

An account is for one person. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least [MINIMUM AGE].

While using Todayish, you agree not to:

• break the law with it, or use it to store material that is illegal;
• try to access anyone else’s account or data, or probe, scan or attack the service or the systems it runs on;
• place unreasonable load on it — scripted traffic, scraping, or anything that degrades the service for other people;
• resell it, or run it as part of another product, without written permission;
• remove or work around the sign-in.

Ordinary human use is never a breach of this section. It is aimed at abuse, not at enthusiasm.

Your habits, notes and history belong to you. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your data, back it up, and display it back to you on your devices. That permission ends when you delete the data or your account.

We do not read your habit data except where strictly necessary to fix a fault you have reported, and we do not use it to train anything. How it is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

Todayish is provided as-is and as-available. There is no uptime commitment. It may be unavailable for maintenance, because something broke, or because a service it depends on broke.

Features may be added, changed or removed. If a change would remove access to data you have entered, you will be given reasonable notice and a chance to export it first. If the service is discontinued altogether, the same applies.

Your data is stored in a managed database with automated backups, and reasonable care is taken to keep it. That is an effort, not a promise: no warranty is given against loss, corruption or deletion of data, however caused.

Export your data from the app periodically. It takes one tap, and it is the only copy that is genuinely under your control.

You may stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings, which deletes your data as described in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 4, or where keeping it open would break the law or put the service at risk. Where it is practical and lawful to do so, you will be told first and given a chance to export. Where a breach is serious or ongoing, action may be immediate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Todayish comes with no warranties of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, uninterrupted availability, or that it will be error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost or corrupted data arising from your use of Todayish. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms may change. When they do, the effective date at the top changes and the current version always lives at this address. A material change will be shown in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Todayish after that means accepting the new version; if you would rather not, delete your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], and any dispute will be heard by the courts of [COURTS / VENUE]. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
